Discussion:
pkg-config build problem

I'm trying to build multimedia/vlc and have mucked around with
portupgrade, portsnap, csup, cvsup etc not really knowing what I'm
doing.

I'm worried that I've buggered it up more than anything. Anyway, I've
narrowed my problems down to pkg-config not building/installing
correctly.

Any help GREATLY appreciated!

Output at: http://freebsd-gnome.pastebin.org/33690

TIA

Hi,

Looking at your Output these lines stick out for me:

=====
Script started on Fri Jan 11 00:16:59 2008
=====
checking whether build environment is sane... configure: error: newly
created file is older than distributed files! Check your system clock
====

Is it possible that your system-clock is way off??
Check if your system clock is OK and make sure its set to a current date
and time.
